A group of frustrated ejidatarios from rural communities across Nayarit has staged vocal demonstrations to denounce what they describe as illegal land dispossession and the exploitation of their communal agrarian properties. The protestors gathered along regional highways and government offices to voice their outrage, accusing local authorities and private entities of colluding to strip them of ancestral lands without proper legal compensation or consent.
According to the affected farmers and community representatives, ongoing development projects and irregular land-grabbing practices have severely threatened their livelihoods and violated their constitutional agrarian rights. The demonstrators are urgently demanding direct intervention from federal authorities and the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development to review disputed titles, halt unauthorized construction, and guarantee full legal protection for their communal territories.
As tensions continue to rise in the region, civil protection and law enforcement agencies are monitoring the protests to maintain public order and prevent potential clashes. State officials have expressed willingness to open a formal dialogue with the affected ejidatarios, but community leaders emphasize that they will maintain their mobilization until federal guarantees and fair resolutions are formally established.
