The bands Big Mountain and Salón Victoria will headline this edition at the Malecón kiosk in a free event that will bring together more than 30 organizations offering activities for the whole family.
The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a segment called “Tardes Calurosas” (Hot Afternoons). During the hours leading up to the main performances, various booths will be set up where visitors can learn about the work of local associations and community organizations.
The program includes activities designed especially for young people and the general public, offering free recreational opportunities in a public space. Featured activities include:
- Hands-on workshops covering various disciplines
- Recreational activities for all ages
- Science outreach exhibits hosted by participating organizations
- Performances by local bands and artists before the headline concerts
The evening’s musical program will feature both regional musicians and internationally recognized bands that make up the main lineup.
Before the featured performances, the stage will showcase several musical projects from Baja California Sur, highlighting the artistic talent produced in the state. The main attractions of the evening are:
- Big Mountain – The American reggae-pop band best known for its hit version of “Baby, I Love Your Way,” originally performed by Peter Frampton.
- Salón Victoria – The Mexican ska band that will get the audience dancing with its signature energetic style.
This edition is organized by Innovaciones Alumbra in collaboration with the Municipal Department of Culture. According to Juan Lara Guzmán, head of the department, the event aims to create a gathering place where the public can enjoy artistic and educational activities free of charge.

Who is Big Mountain?
Big Mountain is an American reggae-pop band from San Diego, California, active since the early 1990s and led by vocalist Joaquin “Quino” McWhinney.
