Public Vehicle Registry to visit three Querétaro boroughs: Dates, times, and REPUVE locations for August

148

During August, residents of different areas of the municipality of Querétaro will have a new opportunity to register their vehicles with the Public Vehicle Registry (REPUVE) free of charge. The registration drives will be distributed across three municipal delegations in the capital, with service available for several consecutive days to make the process more accessible to citizens.

The strategy is being promoted by the Government of the State of Querétaro, through the Center for Information and Analysis for Security (CQ CIAS), in coordination with the municipality of Querétaro. The purpose is to bring the procedure closer to vehicle owners and contribute to the identification of vehicles circulating throughout the state.

What Is REPUVE and Why Is It Important?

The Public Vehicle Registry (REPUVE) is a national database that collects information on vehicles circulating in Mexico. Its purpose is to facilitate the identification of vehicles and provide information that makes it possible to determine their registration status.

For vehicle owners, having their vehicle registered represents an additional measure of certainty and asset security, since the vehicle’s information is incorporated into the corresponding registry. In addition, the registration allows vehicle information to be consulted and facilitates identification efforts by authorities.

In Querétaro, the procedure is free, and the registration drives are intended to bring the service closer to residents so that vehicle owners do not have to travel to other service locations.

REPUVE Dates and Hours in Centro Histórico, Santa Rosa Jáuregui, and Josefa Vergara y Hernández

Service will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the scheduled days for each delegation. This arrangement allows vehicle owners to choose the registration drive corresponding to the area where it is most convenient for them to complete the procedure.

  • Josefa Vergara y Hernández: August 3 to 7.
  • Santa Rosa Jáuregui: August 10 to 14.
  • Centro Histórico: August 17 to 21.

Authorities stated that REPUVE registration is free of charge and serves as a tool to strengthen vehicle identification and provide greater certainty regarding registered vehicles.

How to Register Your Vehicle with REPUVE in Querétaro

The procedure begins by scheduling an appointment. The vehicle owner must then present the requested documentation and bring the vehicle so that the corresponding inspection can be carried out. Once the process is completed, the vehicle registration sticker is placed.

The official portal also allows users to consult the requirements, schedule an appointment, and review information about permanent service locations. REPUVE reminds citizens that the procedure is free of charge and that official channels are available for reporting any irregularities during the process.
