As part of coordinated efforts to prevent the illegal sale of land and protect family assets, an inspection and monitoring operation was carried out today in the ejido (communal land area) of El Jagüey de Ferniza, in the municipality of Saltillo.
The operation was led by the National Guard, in coordination with the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR), the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Profepa), the Coahuila Secretariat of the Environment, the Coahuila State Attorney General’s Office, State Police, Municipal Police, and the Municipal Urban Development Directorate, with each agency acting within the scope of its respective authority.

These actions aim to detect and halt practices involving the irregular promotion, sale, or marketing of land—particularly properties lacking the necessary authorizations, permits, or legal standing for development.
The State Government continues to urge citizens not to jeopardize their assets and to verify—before entering into any transaction—that the property is properly regularized and registered, and possesses the corresponding permits.

Purchasing land without legal certainty can lead to the loss of invested funds, fraud, and legal complications, in addition to putting family assets at risk. Therefore, it is recommended to consult the competent authorities before handing over any money or formalizing a transaction.
The Government of the State of Coahuila reaffirms its commitment to working in coordination with federal and municipal authorities to strengthen the rule of law, prevent harm to family assets, and protect citizens from falling victim to irregular transactions.
Do not jeopardize your assets. Get informed, verify, and buy with legal certainty.
