The mayor, Brenda Cecilia Güereca Hernández, welcomed the participants of the “Coahuila 1000” race during their passage through the Mala Noche ejido, where they stopped to rest, inspect their vehicles, and admire the landscape and wildlife of the municipality.
During their stay, the participants took the opportunity to carry out the necessary mechanical inspections of their vehicles, with the aim of continuing their journey to the municipality of Cuatrociénegas safely and preventing any incidents.
The municipal president highlighted the importance of this activity, which, in addition to promoting tourism and social interaction, represents an opportunity to strengthen economic activity in the communities and municipalities that are part of the route.
She thanked the security agencies and authorities for the support provided to ensure the safe development of this important race.

The mayor emphasized that, thanks to the support of Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas, the Coahuila 1000 has become an event that generates significant economic activity in the different locations it visits, including San Pedro, which is part of the route as a supply and assistance point for participants.
In this way, San Pedro continues to establish itself as a municipality that welcomes and supports events that contribute to tourism, the promotion of its communities, and the strengthening of the local economy.
