Two young students who were standing at the corner of Daniel González Avenue and 7 Norte Street, in Tehuacán, Puebla, were approached by a man who allegedly intended to rob them.
The incident occurred while the students were in the area when the alleged attacker approached them and attempted to commit the robbery. However, a public transportation driver intervened to defend the young people.
According to the report, the driver noticed what was happening and decided to act, preventing the students from becoming victims of the alleged assault.
The intervention of the transportation operator helped stop the situation and allowed the students to avoid the robbery.
The incident highlights the security concerns faced by students and other people traveling through the streets of Tehuacán, particularly in areas where pedestrians may be vulnerable to criminal activity.
The case also drew attention because of the driver’s decision to intervene when he saw the students being threatened.
