As part of these actions, 120 unauthorized cameras were removed, and approximately 926,421 liters of fuel were seized.
The arrest of 1,534 individuals allegedly in violation of the law is the result of the implementation of “Operation Sable” by Navy personnel in Mexico City and the states of Mexico, Puebla, Tlaxcala, and Morelos.
The Secretariat of the Navy – Mexican Navy (Marina), through the Central Naval Region, reported the results obtained during the period from August 1 to 31, 2026, as well as the interinstitutional support actions provided to various public security agencies in the aforementioned states.
In addition to the arrests, as a result of these actions, 241 vehicles were inspected and 29 properties were seized.
Likewise, 6,665 Mexican pesos in cash were seized. During the same period, 28 firearms of different calibers, 383 rounds of ammunition, and 17 magazines were seized.
Regarding Narcotics:
Approximately two kilograms and 190 doses of a substance with characteristics similar to methamphetamine were seized; 7 kilograms and 326 doses of a green substance with characteristics similar to marijuana; 4 kilograms and 71 doses of a white powder with characteristics similar to cocaine; and 2,400 doses of crystal methamphetamine.
Similarly, as part of these actions, 120 unauthorized cameras were removed, and approximately 926,421 liters of fuel were seized.
With these actions, the Secretariat of the Navy, through the Mexican Navy, reaffirmed its commitment to working in coordination with public security agencies at all three levels of government, with the objective of deterring illicit activities and contributing to the maintenance of public order for the benefit of Mexican families.
