A New Free Experience in Mexico City’s Historic Center: Andrea Fashion House at Casa Boker

Looking for free things to do in Mexico City has a new answer in the Historic Center. Grupo Andrea opened Andrea Fashion House, a temporary experience installed at Casa Boker that allows visitors to explore one of the capital’s historic commercial buildings, learn about the evolution of the brand, visit spaces designed for photographs and selfies, participate in activations, and get closer to its collections without having to purchase through the catalog.

The experience will be open until November 15, 2026, Monday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., according to Gerardo García Verduzco, Advertising and Media Manager at Grupo Andrea.

The starting point is also part of the experience. Casa Boker is located at the corner of 16 de Septiembre and Isabel la Católica, a few blocks from the Zócalo. The building was inaugurated on July 3, 1900, by Porfirio Díaz and stood out at the time for having been built with metal columns and beams.

A House for Photos and Selfies

Andrea Fashion House proposes exploring different areas of the building while presenting part of Andrea’s 53-year history. The route moves from elements connected to the company’s trajectory to the new image it presented in 2026.

However, visitors do not need to know the brand’s history to enjoy the experience. One of the attractions for those looking for a plan to share on social media is its rooms and setups for photographs and selfies. The settings change the logic of a conventional store: here, walking through the space, stopping in front of an installation, and taking out your phone are all part of the experience.

The building itself adds another element for photographs. The building preserves characteristics of its original architecture, such as the interior courtyard, metal structures, and elements from the early 20th century. It was designed by New York architects De Lemos and Cordes and built by Mexican engineer Gonzalo Garita.

The visit also provides an opportunity to understand a change in Andrea’s business model. The company, identified for decades with catalog sales, is using this concept store to bring footwear, clothing, and accessories directly to any visitor.

Different Activations

García mentioned that not all visits will necessarily be the same. Andrea Fashion House includes activations from invited brands, including Under Armour, Reebok, and Adidas. He said the experience is constantly changing and will feature different content related to fashion, beauty, and movement.

The strategy also seeks to bring Andrea closer to consumers who do not use its traditional sales system. García Verduzco explained that the concept store is part of the intention to open new points of contact with the public, without abandoning the catalog that has been part of the company’s growth.

How to Register to Enter

Admission to Andrea Fashion House is free. To register online, visitors must go to the social media accounts of EstiloDF or Andrea en Línea, where they can find the link to register their visit and check the available schedule.

If the plan comes up while you are walking through the Historic Center, you can also try to enter without having completed the process from home. At the entrance to Casa Boker there is a QR code to register on the spot and request admission, García Verduzco said.

Andrea Fashion House can be incorporated into a walk through the Historic Center without the budget being an obstacle: admission is free and the tour combines fashion, architecture, spaces for photographs, and a look at the transformation of a Mexican company with more than five decades in the market.
