Within the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara you will find the cheapest and the most expensive supermarket in the region

Today in the Who’s Who section of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s morning conference, the lowest and highest prices in the different supermarkets in the country for the basic basket were announced. On this occasion, like last week, Guadalajara presented an establishment among the cheapest in Mexico and another at the other extreme.
Within the economic analysis carried out by the Federal Consumer Prosecutor’s Office (Profeco), the country is rationed into four regions: center, north center, north and south. Jalisco belongs to the second option listed along with Baja California Sur, Aguascalientes, Durango, Jalisco, Michoacán, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa and Zacatecas.
The federal entity’s request is that supermarkets offer maximum prices of $1,039 pesos for this set of basic products.
What is the most expensive supermarket in Guadalajara?
With a price of $1,011.90 pesos per basket of 24 essential products, the supermarket that offered the highest prices in the region was the Walmart Express Manuel Acuña. This establishment is located on Avenida Manuel Acuña 3200, in the San Jorge neighborhood. Its hours are from 7 in the morning to 10 at night.
