San Cristóbal – For more than 20 years, the cathedral square of San Cristóbal de las Casas has become a night market, and every night they set up shop starting at 7 p.m. and many people come to buy all kinds of sales. of regional crafts and others from Guatemala, and there are more than 1000 people who occupy this central Alameda.
They set up at 7:00 p.m. to sell crafts and leave at midnight; However, they do this illegally, causing local residents to demand their eviction.
The cathedral square is located in the center of the city, and is illegally occupied every day starting at 7 pm and they leave after midnight and it is known that there are 1,200 people, including men and women, from other municipalities in the upper region of Chiapas that it has been occupied for several years.
