As the days go by, we are getting closer to the beginning of summer and also to a period of stronger rains, as it is predicted that Tropical Wave 3 is about to reach Mexico, which will have intense effects.
Today the country is experiencing a period of very strong heat, with states that exceed 45 degrees, but the arrival of the rains has been a relief for many, as they help to keep the temperature from being so intense.
On what date in June will Tropical Wave 3 arrive?
The National Meteorological Service (SMN), in its extended report, warned that in a few days Mexico will be hit by Tropical Wave 3, which will cause strong gusts of wind, rain and possible hail.
The report indicates that between Monday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 11, the third Tropical Wave will arrive, which will enter through the Yucatan Peninsula, reinforcing the potential for rain that exists in the region.
This phenomenon will combine with a channel and a low pressure center, interacting with the monsoon trough that will extend to the coasts of the South Pacific, so there will be very heavy rains in the region.
For Monday, June 10, intense rains are expected in Yucatan and Quintana Roo; strong for Chiapas, Campeche and Yucatan, in addition to intervals of showers for Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, Oaxaca and Tabasco.
For Tuesday, June 11, Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo will suffer from intense rains; in Tabasco it is expected that they will be of strong intensity; Oaxaca will have periods of showers with occasional heavy rain, and Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, the State of Mexico, Mexico City, Morelos and Puebla will only have isolated showers.
