They present the same arguments seeking to annul democratic elections in San Felipe: deputy Juan Manuel Molina. “Coincidentally” these parties never saw San Felipe and now that it is a municipality they want to take its name from it

The local MORENA deputy Juan Manuel Molina García announced two new challenges recently presented regarding the elections for the mayor of Puerto de San Felipe.
These are two “copy paste” challenges, one signed by Julio Rodríguez of the PT party, and the other by Miguel de Loera of the MC party, which are identical.
Before, the Green Party was the first to present a challenge which was also replicated by the PRI.
In the last elections in the municipality of San Felipe, which together with San Quintín is the youngest municipality in the state and the region, the Labor Party obtained only 2 points, while Movimiento Ciudadano barely got a plurinominal council seat, and even so they intend to annul the decision of the citizens of the seventh Baja Californian municipality.
The local legislator described as “bad losers” party representatives who want to hinder the political future of this new municipality of the entity, where for the first time a constitutional election was held.
“How ironic that San Felipe did not matter to them before; the parties in power did not even put delegates, nor did they offer a certain future for its inhabitants; now after the municipalization, it has suddenly become the jewel in the crown, considering it as an economic, political and personal privilege loot.
The “youngest” municipality
Legislator Molina García added “what is perceived is a collusion between the representatives of the Green Party, PRI, PT and MC, who are trying to eliminate the will of the San Felipe residents who elected the Morena member José Luis Dagnino López and his slate as their president, a victory confirmed in the PREP, which was expanded in the local count.”
“Seeing all these parties involved in the challenge is a clear indication that there are interests of their representatives or leaders, when after a democratic process and indisputable results, they try – with false legal loopholes – to take over this region of the country.”
It is a fact that this situation is placing San Felipe on the national political map, awakening the interest of political actors and analysts, as well as national media, as it is the youngest municipality in the country.
“For the good of San Felipe, we will support what is right and just and we will concentrate our resources until the last instance if necessary, so that this does not happen; let it be clear that the municipality was not created to satisfy anyone’s personal interests,” stressed Deputy Juan Manuel Molina.
