With the goal of earning their place at Mr. Mexico, Mr. Baja 2026 will take place on September 13 at the IMSS Theater in Tijuana, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
The overall winners of Men’s Physique, Classic Physique, Bikini, Wellness, and Bodybuilding will secure their place at the national event, which will be held from October 1 to 4 in Mexico City.
“As with any event, I feel nervous, but excited because I expect many high-level athletes. I tried to perfect my conditioning so I could arrive a little leaner and more defined,” said Levi Campos, the overall Bodybuilding winner at Mr. Mexicali 2026.
Some of the categories that will be featured in the first block are Novice, Bikini Games, Wellness Games, and Masters for athletes aged 35 and over, from 35 to 39, and over 40.
In the second block, the Fitness Figure, Women’s Physique, Open Bikini, Wellness, and Men’s Physique categories will take the stage.
In 2025, Mexicali stood out with four overall titles: Bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, Classic Physique, and Figure. Meanwhile, Tijuana won the overall Wellness title, while Ensenada stood out in Bikini.
“I admire everyone who stands out because I know what it takes to do all of this, and it is neither easy nor accessible. It is a sport in which you have to stay focused 24/7, think about the goal every day, and I believe we will continue raising the level,” concluded the 26-year-old athlete, who trains at Elysium Gym.
