The H. City Council of Huamantla, chaired by Luz María Calva Pimentel, through the Coordination of Agriculture and Rural Development, invites the general public to the Dahlia Festival and Gastronomic Tasting.
This event will take place next Friday, August 23, in the auditorium of the former Cancha 13 at 12:00 noon, which is part of the celebrations of the International Fair of Ephemeral Art and the Dahlia 2024 in its 150th Edition.
In this gastronomic tasting you can enjoy a variety of exquisite dishes where the Dahlia is the main ingredient, and attendees will have the opportunity to try various innovative and tasty stews that highlight the culinary use of this beautiful flower.
The event will be attended by Guadalupe Treviño de Castro, president of the Mexican Dahlia Association, who has worked closely with the municipal government to promote projects aimed at promoting this flower as a symbol of identity of this Magical Town.
Finally, the celebration will not only be an opportunity to enjoy local cuisine, but also to appreciate the cultural and botanical importance of the Dahlia in the municipality and the country.
