Cervecería Modelo wins exclusivity to sell at Mazatlán Carnival 2025 events

With an economic and technical proposal for 12 million 500 thousand pesos, Cervecería Modelo de México won the exclusive right to sell beer at the events of the Mazatlán International Carnival 2025.

According to a statement, the Committee of Acquisitions, Leases and Services of the Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlán ruled in favor of the company Cervecería Modelo de México S. de R.L. de C.V., by presenting a proposal for 9 million 500 thousand pesos plus VAT for Carnival expenses, plus 3 million plus VAT, exclusively for artistic talent.

The total amount will be paid in a single payment no later than February 17, 2025.

According to the tender rules published on November 4, the decision was due today, November 29, and Cervecería Modelo’s proposal met the established specifications, guaranteed the purpose of the tender, and was the only bid received in a timely manner.

The meeting was attended by members of the CULTURA Acquisitions Committee chaired by María de Jesús Angulo Dueñas; the general director of CULTURA, Raúl Rico González, was present as a special guest; representing the Mazatlán City Council, the Ombudsman Minerva Osuna Zavala attended and signed the minutes of the decision, Arturo Gabriel Bravo Reynoso, legal representative of Cervecería Modelo.
