Promoting animal welfare in Mexico City, the Cuauhtémoc City Hall will host a new edition of Can Fest, an event where you can get your cat and puppy vaccinated or spayed/neutered for FREE. Here are the details:
The Can Fest México association will be organizing a free event in Parque México in the Cuauhtémoc City Hall so you can come with your puppy and enjoy a unique day full of activities and services. These include:
Feline and canine sterilization campaign
Rabies vaccination campaign for cats and dogs
Preventive medical evaluations
Basic canine grooming
For sterilizations, pets must meet certain requirements, such as: an 8-hour fast; a copy of proof of address, INE (National Institute of Statistics and Census), RUAC (National Autonomous University of Mexico), and your pet’s vaccination record; and a minimum age of 4 months. In this section, it’s important to highlight one more point:
You will be asked for a donation to continue supporting rescued cats and puppies. This could be 2 kg of kibble, medical supplies, and more.
