Caravan from Texas brings back eight families from Morelos

In addition to supporting Operation Heroes Paisanos 2025, the Morelos State Office for Migrant Assistance will accompany the caravan from Laredo, Texas, to welcome Mexican nationals back for the holiday season. According to Verónica Giles, eight families have already registered to receive assistance during their return journey from the United States.

Upon arrival in the state, the families from Morelos will be received with a public security escort protocol and support from various federal agencies to ensure a safe journey to their loved ones.

Those who choose to travel independently will have access to assistance from 40 federal agencies that will be monitoring their journey.

The state official also noted that her department will provide support to agricultural migrants traveling to Canada, which is divided into three phases: from hiring to their transfer trip, and when they return to Mexico. She emphasized that these migrants go for periods of six months and return for another six months to their city of origin.
