The National Seismological Service of Mexico (SSN) has notified the Mexican population of a new earthquake of magnitude 4.1 that occurred in Yucatán at 5:38 a.m. this Friday, December 5, 2025.
According to preliminary information shared by authorities, the epicenter of the seismic event was located 16 km northeast of Ticul, at a depth of 5 kilometers, latitude 20.524° and longitude -89.463°.
