INEGI also highlights that Yucatán is among the 10 states that increased their GDP in 2024, a year that corresponded to the last nine months of the governorship of PAN (National Action Party) member Mauricio Vila Dosal and the first three months of the administration of MORENA (National Regeneration Movement) member Joaquín Díaz Mena.

Specifically, Yucatán had the fifth largest GDP increase in 2024, at 3.9%, compared to the 387,739,307 million pesos produced in 2023, according to INEGI.
