Around 1,500 cycling enthusiasts set off on the 140- and 70-kilometer adventures through the city and surrounding towns for the 15th edition of the Ciclotour 2025.
Hundreds of cyclists from across Mexico, South America, the United States, and Canada departed, as is customary, from the Mazatlán Convention Center.
Prior to the starting flag, scheduled for 6:30 a.m., authorities and special guests were introduced.
Carlos Steck, the event organizer, welcomed the participants and thanked all the authorities for their presence.
Ezequiel Mora Bracamontes, director of the Mazatlán Municipal Sports Institute, delivered a congratulatory message to the cyclists, along with greetings from the Mayor of Mazatlán, Estrella Palacios Domínguez.
Mireya Sosa Osuna, Secretary of Tourism for Sinaloa, representing Governor Rubén Rocha Moya, congratulated the organizers and attendees on their 15th anniversary of promoting the sport.
Following this, the countdown began for the massive departure of this cycling event, which would take participants to several historic towns in the region.
