This Saturday, December 20th, the “El Tamal le Dijo a la Olla” Festival will take place, a celebration dedicated to preserving and promoting the roots, traditions, and cultural expressions of the Indigenous and Afro-Mexican communities of the municipality of Los Cabos.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. in the León Cota Collins public square in Cabo San Lucas, where families will enjoy a day of culture and gastronomy.
Traditional cuisine, tamale demonstrations, traditional dances, Andean music, a brass band, as well as cultural and artisanal exhibits will be offered, creating a space for community gathering.
The “El Tamal le Dijo a la Olla” Festival seeks to strengthen cultural exchange, promote pride in traditions, and foster family togetherness in an inclusive environment that reflects diversity.
Finally, the public is invited to attend and participate in this cultural activity, designed for families to share and appreciate the heritage that gives identity to the municipality of Los Cabos.
