Television series have carved out a significant place for themselves amidst the reconfiguration of entertainment, at a time when films, music, podcasts, and other formats are vying for viewers’ attention through the various streaming platforms they consume.

While the origins of television series date back to the first half of the 20th century, the truth is that never before have major networks invested and produced as much as they have in the new millennium, in a context where users of these platforms consume productions at an unimaginable pace.

Disney+ has been one of the main players in the streaming wars and has, of course, invested heavily in creating series, many of which have kept viewers on the edge of their seats, becoming the talk of the town for weeks.
