The road to the 2026 Morelos Open is about to officially begin with the qualifying tournament, “Morelos Open Series, The Land That Unites Us,” which will take place at the Racquet Club Hotel from March 5th to 8th.

The champion of the Morelos Open Series, in the men’s open category, will win a wild card to participate in the 2026 Morelos Open qualifier.

Registration closes on February 28th. There will be competition in the men’s division in the open, B, C, and D categories. The women’s division will also have competitions in the B, C, and D categories. Additionally, a mixed 12 and under category has been announced.

The 2026 Morelos Open will be held from March 16th to 22nd, also at the Racquet Club Hotel. The tournament is expected to feature several international stars in both singles and doubles, as has been the case since its inception in 2015.

Last year, the winner was Swiss tennis player Marc-Andrea Huesler, who defeated Kazakhstani Dmitri Popko in the final. Mexico’s top-ranked tennis player, Rodrigo Pacheco, has participated in this tournament every year since 2022.
