Yucatán could replicate the Qrobus system for its public transportation

2

The Governor of Yucatán, Joaquín Díaz Mena, visited the Qrobus system to learn about its operational and growth model. Qrobus has become one of the fastest-growing public transportation services in the country. His interest lies in the strategies implemented to modernize the service and improve the user experience.

This transformation process has been spearheaded by Gerardo Cuanalo from the Querétaro State Mobility Agency, where initiatives have focused on digitalization, route expansion, and strengthening the transportation system’s operational infrastructure.

This model has begun to attract the attention of state administrations from various political parties, who have recognized the progress achieved in Querétaro and are exploring the possibility of replicating best practices to improve urban mobility in their own states.
