For the first time in its eight-year history, the Baja Beach Fest, taking place in Rosarito from August 7-9, will offer a FastPass for attendees traveling to Rosarito from the United States. This aims to facilitate their return after enjoying the event and avoid long lines at the border.
This new benefit will allow visitors access to a designated FastPass lane at the Baja California border.
While the festival’s official website doesn’t specify the cost of the pass or whether it’s part of a package, those who purchase it will receive detailed instructions on how to reach this exclusive lane a few days before the festival, thus optimizing their departure experience.
The FastPass will be sent in PDF format to attendees’ email addresses before the event, in the form of a FastPass credential. It’s important to note that these passes are non-transferable, as they are issued for a specific registered vehicle.
To obtain the pass, attendees must provide vehicle information, including the driver’s full name, license plate number, and number of passengers, before July 19. Organizers warn that they cannot guarantee pass issuance after this deadline and that there will be no refunds for incomplete registrations.
It should be noted that, while access to the FastPass lane expedites crossing, processing times at the border ultimately depend on U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
With this initiative, Baja Beach Fest seeks to improve event logistics and provide greater convenience for its international attendees, solidifying its position as one of the most important musical experiences in the region.
