IMAGINE in Mexico City: the new immersive experience that will make you feel like you’re inside art

95

In the city, there are things to see, things to eat, and then there are those experiences that completely change your perspective for a while. IMAGINE is the new immersive experience in Mexico City, landing in Polanco with a tour designed to completely envelop you in art, visual stimuli, and spaces that don’t feel like a traditional exhibition.

The idea here isn’t to stand in front of a piece and keep walking. Rather, it’s about entering an environment where each room plays with your sight, perception, and curiosity. It’s a plan to go at your own pace, let yourself be surprised, and, incidentally, leave eager to talk about what you’ve just seen.

It’s a multisensory experience where art is experienced with your whole body: lights, shapes, immersive spaces, and an aesthetic that blends playfulness with contemporary design.

The interesting thing about IMAGINE is that there’s no single way to experience it. It’s not linear, nor does it tell you exactly what to do. You decide how long you stay in each room, what you observe, and what you take away from each space.

There are installations that play with light, others with the visual, and still others with the sensory. Some are very contemplative, others more dynamic. The point is that everything is designed to provoke something: surprise, curiosity, or simply that moment of “this is weird… but it’s cool.” You know what I mean?

This makes the experience feel fresh, accessible, and very much in tune with what’s happening today in the world of digital art and immersive installations.

The IMAGINE experience will be available starting March 26, 2026, at the Human Museum, located at Avenida Presidente Masaryk 393, in the Polanco neighborhood. Visiting hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and it will be open for a limited time, so it’s not something that will be permanent.

Tickets can already be purchased on the museum’s official website and range approximately from $149 to $199. That is, quite affordable compared to many other immersive experiences.

IMAGINE is one of those places you can go with friends, on a date, or even alone, because everyone experiences it in their own way. If you’re into unique plans, creative spaces, or simply want a change of scenery without leaving Mexico City, this experience is perfect.
