The Chiapas Ministry of Tourism (Sectur Chiapas) is strengthening visitor services by installing Tourist Information Booths at various locations throughout the state, as part of the Safe Holy Week 2026 Vacation Operation, which runs from March 27 to April 12.
As part of these efforts, information will be provided to national and international tourists at the Ángel Albino Corzo International Airport, with the participation of municipalities promoting their culture, traditions, and gastronomy.
On this occasion, the Copainalá City Council presented a folkloric and gastronomic showcase to highlight the municipality’s rich cultural heritage and promote destinations such as the San Marcos Lagoon, the Tres Picos Ecotourism Center, the Zacalapa Waterfall, and the San Miguel Arcángel Church.
Sectur Chiapas acknowledges the support of airport authorities in carrying out these activities. With this, the State Government reaffirms its commitment to consolidating Chiapas as a safe, welcoming, and competitive destination.
