The government of Alejandro Armenta received criticism for holding a formal event to inaugurate a wall in Tehuacán, Puebla.
According to photos, the structure is no more than three or four meters wide and high; it appears to be the end of a construction project, but it bears a commemorative plaque.
This plaque includes the names of Claudia Sheinbaum, President of Mexico, and Alejandro Armenta, Governor of Puebla.
The plaque reads:

Although no critical comments were visible on the post, Representative Araceli Celestino’s Facebook post received mostly “Haha” reactions.

Ricardo Monreal clarifies controversy over Puebla governor who “ordered someone’s assassination”
The controversy surrounding Ricardo Monreal arose after an ambiguous statement about a Puebla governor and an assassination, which led the PAN party to demand a formal clarification.
Monreal clarified that he was referring to Mucio Martínez, responsible for the deaths of the Serdán brothers before the Mexican Revolution, and not to more recent figures.
The congressman described the PAN’s reaction as “political opportunism” and announced that he would send a book about the historical episode. Monreal emphasized that he has always maintained respect for Miguel Barbosa and his family, dismissing any contemporary connection.
