The skies over the Mexican Caribbean will have a new star this spring. In Tulum, where the turquoise hues of the sea usually dominate, it will now be the air show that captures everyone’s attention with the arrival of the Tulum Air Show 2026, an event that blends technology, spectacle, and tourism into a single weekend.

From April 23 to 26, the Tulum International Airport and Military Air Base No. 20 will be transformed into a stage for an experience that combines displays by the Mexican Air Force, aerospace fairs, and even the roar of the engines from the NASCAR Mexico Series.

The Tulum Air Show is not just an air show: it’s an experience that seeks to integrate different forms of excitement in one place. For four days, the activities are divided between aerial demonstrations, technology exhibits, and specialized meetings.

In the sky, the aerobatics promise to be one of the most anticipated moments. High-precision maneuvers, formation flying, and military aircraft demonstrations transform the airspace into a spectacle best enjoyed with eyes fixed on the sky and the roar of engines in the background.

On the ground, the experience continues. Air shows and exhibitions offer a close look at aerospace technology, while aviation safety conferences provide a more specialized forum, even offering academic credit for those seeking to delve deeper into the subject.

The event also adds adrenaline to the ground with the NASCAR Mexico Series, taking place on April 25 and 26. Here, the atmosphere shifts: from the sky to the asphalt, with races that contrast sharply with the destination’s usual serenity.

One of the highlights will be the show on April 26, when the aerobatics will move towards the archaeological zone and nearby beaches, incorporating the Mayan landscape as a backdrop.

Although the Tulum Air Show 2026 is a free event, prior registration is required. This process allows you to organize your attendance and choose activities of interest, from air shows to conferences and fairs.

Registration is done online through a form where you must fill out basic information and select the events you wish to attend. Registration is available from March and will remain open until the event dates, subject to availability.

Regarding venues, most activities are concentrated at Military Air Base No. 20, within the airport complex. However, some exhibitions—such as the air show on April 26—will take place at the archaeological zone and beaches of Jaguar Park, expanding the experience beyond a single location.

The program is structured as follows:

April 23 and 24 are dedicated to conferences, fairs, and air shows throughout the day, with schedules running from morning to afternoon.

On April 25, one of the main air shows takes place at the military base, along with a NASCAR race that evening (this race requires an additional fee).

The event concludes on April 26 with an air show on the waterfront in the morning and the NASCAR Grand Prix in the afternoon/evening, also with separate admission fees.

Air shows, fairs, and conventions are free, while NASCAR-related activities require tickets. Therefore, it’s advisable to plan in advance which part of the event you wish to experience.

El espectáculo aéreo del 26 de abril se realizará frente a playas y zona arqueológica.
