Motorists returning from Easter vacation encountered toll increases of up to 5% on highways operated by Caminos y Puentes Federales (Capufe).
In Veracruz, the toll on the Perote-Xalapa highway and the Xalapa bypass is now 206 pesos for cars.
The Córdoba-Veracruz highway increased from 270 to 282 pesos.
The Paso del Toro-Veracruz interchange toll rose from 20 to 21 pesos.
The La Tinaja-Veracruz highway toll increased from 130 to 136 pesos; the La Tinaja-Paso del Toro highway toll rose from 106 to 111 pesos.
The La Tinaja-Cosoleacaque highway toll increased from 535 to 560 pesos.

Other sections also saw adjustments: the Chamapa-Lechería fare was set at 69 pesos, the Lomas Verdes-Lechería section at 61 pesos, and the Lomas Verdes-Atizapán section at 36 pesos.
