From the rostrum of the Permanent Commission, senators from the Morena party asserted that next week they will reveal files on members of the National Action Party (PAN), such as Ricardo Anaya and Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca.

As part of Wednesday’s debate in the Permanent Commission regarding the arrest warrants requested by the United States against the governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha Moya, Morena Senator Enrique Inzunza, and eight other Sinaloa officials for alleged links to drug trafficking, Morena Senators Óscar Cantón and Gerardo Fernández Noroña warned that they will reveal legal files on members of the PAN.

“I forgot to mention this,” Fernández said. “The National Action Party told me that there was an arrest warrant against Ricardo Anaya. There is an arrest warrant. We offer to bring all the information to the next session.”

“I forgot to mention it,” Fernández said. “The National Action Party told me that there was an arrest warrant against Ricardo Anaya. There is an arrest warrant. We offer to bring all the information to the next session.”

“I forgot to mention it,” he added. Cantón Zetina added that “next week, as Senator Noroña announced here, we will bring the files, we will bring the arrest warrants for Ricardo Anaya, Cabeza de Vaca, and several other PAN members of the Real Estate Cartel, and for several others who have harmed the people of Mexico and who have repeatedly violated the Constitution and the laws.”

Cantón questioned why the governor of Chihuahua, María Eugenia Campos, a member of the PAN party, did not request a leave of absence due to the presence of U.S. agents in an operation in that state to dismantle a drug lab.

On the floor, Senator Fernández confronted the PRI coordinator in the Chamber of Deputies, Rubén Moreira, because the PRI leader, Alejandro Moreno, went to the United States to accuse Morena politicians of having ties to organized crime.

In response, Moreira declared: “Enough with these vulgar speeches about defending Mexico.

Mexico is defended by putting criminals in jail, going after drug traffickers, and bringing justice to those who suffer from violence.”

From his seat, Fernández Noroña shouted at Moreira, who retorted: “Go complain to me over there, you thug. You’re a thug, a fucking thug, I’m sitting right here for you to complain to. Go ahead. Traitors, bunch of traitors.”
