Three partially clothed individuals with signs of physical abuse were reported by motorists walking along the Mexico-Nogales highway, heading towards the community of El Habal in Mazatlán. It is presumed they are employees of the Federal Welfare Secretariat who were reported missing.

Last Saturday, it was reported that three “Servants of the Nation” (a government employee) who were carrying out various activities in the El Recodo district had disappeared, prompting a search of the area.

Since last Monday, members of the Army and the National Guard have been conducting an intensive search operation for the three “Servants of the Nation” reported missing in the El Recodo area of Mazatlán, without success.

The three men, who were only wearing underwear, were assisted and taken to a hospital for medical attention due to their injuries. It is not yet known whether they are the federal employees.

To date, authorities have not released their identities or confirmed that they are the missing employees.
