As part of the collaboration between the General Health Coordination of the Municipality of Aguascalientes and the Aguascalientes State Health Secretariat, new dates for free sterilizations have been announced for May in the Barrio de la Purísima and the Cumbres 3 housing development, respectively.
María Teresa Rendón Esquivel, head of the Municipal Health Coordination, reported that each sterilization event will have 60 slots available. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 449 918 30 69 or 449 238 33 06, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel by calling the same numbers.
Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the General Health Coordination offices, Constitución #137, Barrio de la Purísima.
Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Social Development Center located on José Ángel Conchello Street, Cumbres 3.
Please note that to participate in the procedure, the pet must be older than 4 months and younger than 6 years, healthy, not lactating or in heat, not a brachycephalic breed (pug, flat-faced, boxer), have fasted for 12 hours, be brought on a leash or in a carrier, box, or burlap sack, and if nervous, wear a muzzle. The pet must also be brought with a blanket, be registered in the Aguascalientes Municipality’s pet registry (www.ags.gob.mx/padronmascotas), and the owner must bring a copy of their INE (National Electoral Institute) ID.
