The Mérida City Council announced that there will be more than 200 artistic and cultural activities at various venues throughout the city as part of the White Night and Pre-March celebrations, which can be enjoyed this coming May 22nd and 23rd.
According to the presentation made this morning to the media, there will be a total of 210 activities, featuring 1,025 artists, along a circuit covering more than five kilometers.
The activities will be distributed throughout the city, including neighborhoods and outlying communities, in addition to the city center. It was reported that there will be events at 38 venues, with offerings for all audiences.
The program includes exhibitions in museums, galleries, and public spaces, gallery tours, interactive activities, literary events, as well as videomapping presentations and film screenings.
Other experiences include tours along different routes through the city, activities at cultural centers, and exhibitions at venues such as the City Museum, the Southern Cultural Center, and other locations.
During the presentation, the public was invited to consult the full program and participate in the activities, exploring the city and enjoying the various artistic expressions.
The Eve and White Night are part of a circuit designed for people to walk, observe, and reconnect with the city’s spaces and cultural offerings.
