The Mexico City Government Secretariat reported that 130,000 people attended Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum’s annual report, held at the Monument to the Revolution.
In a press release, the city agency stated that the address, titled “Accountability, Two Years After the Victory: Honesty, Results, and Love for the Nation,” concluded without incident.
Attendees included members of the Mexican government’s cabinet, Mayor Clara Brugada, and local and federal legislators. The address was also broadcast simultaneously to various public squares across the country, where there was also significant public participation.

Coming from all 16 boroughs of the capital, thousands of people gathered at this iconic location to hear the mayor’s address, in an atmosphere of respect, enthusiasm, and civic engagement.
As part of the preventative measures and citizen support efforts, four tents were set up near the Monument to the Revolution, staffed by personnel from Locatel (the city’s information and assistance service) and the Mexico City Public Health Secretariat to provide guidance, basic medical care, and support to attendees. Two additional stations were also set up with the presence of the Mexico City Fire Department, strengthening the response capacity and providing assistance in case of any eventuality during the event.
“The day was notable for the active participation of the public and the atmosphere of respect and coexistence that prevailed throughout the event, reflecting the attendees’ interest in supporting this accountability exercise and the message in defense of national sovereignty led by Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo,” stated the Government Secretariat.
