The distinction is part of the Award of Excellence category, which recognizes establishments with carefully curated wine lists that are perfectly paired with their culinary offerings, providing diners with a comprehensive, high-quality experience.
Among the award-winning Puerto Vallarta restaurants is La Corona, a signature cuisine restaurant located in Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway, renowned for its gastronomic offerings and wine selection.
Also recognized was Cafe des Artistes Puerto Vallarta, whose wine list features labels from Mexico, California, France, Argentina, and Chile, solidifying its position as a leading destination for wine tourism and gastronomy in the region.

In the 2016 edition of the Restaurant Awards, more than 4,000 restaurants from 87 countries were recognized.
