With less than a month to go before the start of the 2026 Potosina National Fair (FENAPO), the Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, assured that final preparations are underway to welcome residents of San Luis Potosí, as well as visitors from other parts of the country and the world, who will enjoy a unique, safe, and family-friendly experience from August 7th to 30th.
Prior to the start of the biggest celebration for the people of San Luis Potosí, the Governor commented that preparations at the fairgrounds are in their final stages and reiterated that access and seating for the free concerts at the Foro de las Estrellas (Stars Forum) are not for sale. He urged the public not to be deceived by fake social media pages and to consult only the official channels of FENAPO and the State Government.
Ricardo Gallardo emphasized that anticipation is growing as the opening approaches, thanks to the free performances by internationally renowned artists such as Mötley Crüe and Katy Perry, as well as a lineup of national and Latin American talent that has sparked interest from tour companies, visitors, and specialized media, solidifying FENAPO as one of the most important and well-attended fairs in Mexico.
Finally, he affirmed that the State Government maintains ongoing coordination with the tourism, hotel, restaurant, and commercial sectors to guarantee quality services, adequate infrastructure, security, and the hospitality that distinguishes San Luis Potosí, ensuring that this edition of FENAPO 2026 is an unforgettable experience for everyone.
