Mexico achieves two Top 10 finishes at the Porto Flavia 2026 High Diving World Cup

The Mexican team concluded its participation in the Porto Flavia 2026 High Diving World Cup, the second stop on the World Aquatics circuit, held in Porto Flavia, Iglesias, Sardinia, Italy, where the world’s best divers sought to earn points for the international ranking.

In the men’s 27-meter event, Sergio Guzmán finished in seventh place with 361.65 points, followed by Yolotl Martínez in eighth with 360.95 points, and Antonio Corzo in 14th place with 265.00 points.

Meanwhile, in the women’s 20-meter competition, Tania Cuevas finished in 18th place with 186.35 points, in an event that brought together the top international divers in the sport.

As is typical of this venue, the competitions took place amidst the iconic rock formations of Porto Flavia, preserving the essence of high diving in a natural environment that demands a high level of technical skill.

With this participation, Mexico continues its competitive journey in the World Aquatics series, accumulating international experience and points for the world ranking, as part of the preparation of its athletes for upcoming events on the international calendar.
