Alleged Yucatán Health Department official accused of making threats following a parking dispute in Mérida.
A dispute over a parking space escalated into an exchange of insults and alleged threats that were captured on video. The driver involved has been identified on social media as an employee of the Yucatán Health Department.
According to Daniel Rojas, his vehicle was parked correctly within the lines, whereas the other driver’s SUV was encroaching on the adjacent space. A heated argument ensued after he pointed out the issue.
In the footage circulated on social media, the woman can be heard saying, “I’ll find you here,” while the complainant claims she also drove aggressively with a minor in her vehicle.
Social media users argue that the Yucatán Health Department should investigate the incident, given that the driver is a public servant.
