Sports cars and race cars were displayed in Morelia’s Historic Center before setting off on a route to Ixtapa.

The participants stated that they would complete the journey over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before returning to Morelia.

“We’re heading to Ixtapa—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—and then coming back to Morelia… because we love cars and enjoy sharing that passion with friends. We’re a group of friends from across the country who get together a few times a year,” remarked one of the organizers.

They noted that they do not belong to a formal association; rather, they are a nationwide group of car enthusiasts who meet several times a year to share their passion and socialize.

As the starting flag was waved, people of all ages enjoyed the impressive and diverse array of sports cars.

“Honestly, it was amazing; I really wasn’t expecting this. I was out running an errand with my cousin, so seeing these cars was a huge surprise. It’s incredible, honestly,” said one enthusiast.

The participants invited the public to join them via social media—specifically the “Checo P” page—where they provide information on upcoming routes.
