Jalisco has managed to leave the group of the 10 states with the highest incidence of intentional homicides so far in 2026, moving to 11th place nationwide, according to records from the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP).
During the morning press conference, authorities highlighted the progress made by the state as a result of a sustained reduction in this crime, attributed to a comprehensive security strategy implemented throughout Jalisco.
