CANIRAC Rosarito presents a new edition of the Rosarito Seafood and Fish Festival 2026, a gastronomic celebration that will bring together 24 restaurants, 15 wineries, producers, and 8 culinary universities from across Baja California.

The festival aims to celebrate the state’s gastronomic richness and strengthen collaboration among those who are part of this industry. In this edition, restaurant + producer + university will work together, creating gastronomic proposals based on seafood products from Baja California.

As part of the festival, a Gastronomic Competition organized by the Secretariat of Fisheries will take place, featuring 3 categories:
The Categories
Category 1 | Gastronomic Excellence in Fish and Seafood
Recognition of the best proposals based on technique, flavor, and the use of seafood products.

Category 2 | Gastronomic Innovation in Sardines
A category with special emphasis on sardines, promoting new ways of presenting and enjoying this seafood product.
Category 3 | Excellence in Presentation and Plating
Recognition of the creativity, technique, and visual presentation of the participating dishes.
The participation of 8 culinary universities from Baja California will allow students to be part of the teams alongside restaurants and producers, creating a space for learning, networking, and creativity.
The festival will feature 24 restaurants from different municipalities across the state, as well as 15 wineries and producers, who will share with attendees a sample of Baja California’s gastronomic and productive richness.

The event will be accompanied by live music performances by A Raíz, Bad Michis, and Machito Ruiz.
