Four days before presenting her Second Government Report, President Claudia Sheinbaum stated that Mexico is doing very well, despite the difficulties that any country may face.

During the morning press conference at the National Palace, the president said that she is very optimistic about the economy, quality of life, security, and well-being.

“Mexico is doing better; it is doing well, with the difficulties that any country may face, but we are doing well. I am very optimistic about the economy, the improvement in the quality of life of Mexican men and women, the reduction in violence, and well-being, which is ultimately why we are here, to generate well-being for the people of Mexico,” she emphasized.

From the Treasury Hall, the head of the Executive Branch recalled that, in response to the tariff policy imposed by United States President Donald Trump, her government opted to implement the Mexico Plan.

“We seek to strengthen the domestic market and national production in different areas, and at the same time, strengthen infrastructure and public works through different financing mechanisms.”

“We also seek to facilitate private investment in Mexico through the well-being hubs and other incentives. So, I said that the second half of this year would be better than the first half, and I am sure that it will be, because many public works projects are being developed,” she added.
