In 2023, the community of Tenextepango celebrated the Golden Taco Festival for the first time, in recognition of this delicious specialty that is an essential part of its traditional gastronomy.
Promoted by the Olaque civil association and its representative, Pablo Molina Mora, this festival was established with the aim of highlighting the work of local gastronomic artisans and promoting the culinary culture of the region.
After the success of its first edition, this year the second edition of the Golden Taco Festival will be held on July 20, 2024, within the framework of the celebration in honor of Mr. Santiago Apóstol.
The event, scheduled for next July, promises to offer an experience full of artistic and cultural surprises, reaffirming the community’s commitment to its traditions and rich culinary heritage.
This festival is fully supported by the organizing committee of the Tenextepango 2024 festival, who seek to promote local talent and in turn make the Tenextepango fair in honor of Mr. Santiago Apóstol the epicenter of a great artistic and cultural meeting in the municipality of Ayala.
