More arrest warrants executed against municipal police officers in Coahuila

Five more police officers, now from the municipality of Francisco I. Madero, were arrested for drug-related offenses, and three more resigned due to their involvement in these types of illegal activities.

The arrest warrants were executed by members of the Criminal Investigation Agency attached to the Strategic Investigation Center Against Drug Trafficking of the State Attorney General’s Office.

Among those arrested are a woman identified as Alondra “N,” as well as William “N” and Néstor “N.”

The state Public Security Secretariat asked the mayor, Morena party member Félix Ramírez Hernández, to immediately dismiss the officers. It was reported that authorities in Francisco I. Madero arrested two more police officers and three more resigned.

Last week, state authorities reported the arrest of four people in the municipality of Parras de la Fuente, three of whom were also police officers.

Martín “N”, Anastacio “N”, and Sergio “N” were placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, along with the civilian Francisco “N”, after being linked to drug sales and notified of the operations being carried out in the area by state and federal authorities against drug dealing and fuel theft.

These individuals were found with various quantities of drugs for sale, which they had been carrying out for some time.
