Through social media, a father publicly reported the death of his 14-year-old daughter, Paloma Nicole, to the Durango State Attorney General’s Office. According to a doctor, in collusion with the teenager’s mother, she underwent cosmetic surgery without her consent at a private clinic in this capital city.
According to the testimony, the events occurred on September 12, when the minor underwent the procedure by doctor Víctor N., in collusion with the teenager’s mother, Paloma N., without the father’s authorization.
Nicole’s father stated that, after days of complications, his daughter died on September 20, and that the death certificate falsely stated that the cause of death was “illness,” which he considered an attempt at a cover-up.
The victim states that a complaint has already been filed with the Durango State Attorney General’s Office, demanding an investigation into all those responsible: the doctor, the mother, the clinic and its administrative staff, as well as anyone who may have participated in the alleged manipulation of official documents.
He also requested the intervention of the state governor, Esteban Villegas Villarreal, and Mrs. Marisol Rosso to ensure that the crime does not go unpunished. According to social media accounts, the doctor is allegedly the romantic partner of the minor’s mother.
