With the participation of leading players in the national and international tourism sector, Mazatlán is preparing to host the 28th edition of Fiesta Amigos 2025, a highly relevant event for promoting the destination, taking place from October 27 to 30.
Establishing itself as a key platform for promoting Mazatlán and generating significant business opportunities in the industry, the event will bring together nearly 30 business partners, including traditional wholesalers, online wholesalers, airlines, and specialized tourism media.
This was announced by José Gámez Valle, Marketing Director of the Mazatlán Association of Hotels and Tourism Companies, who emphasized the high expectations for this event.
“Fiesta Amigos is the second longest-running tourism event in the country, after the Tianguis Turístico. We are eagerly awaiting international participation; we are extremely interested in having them come and fall in love with the destination again,” he commented.
Gámez Valle commented that the event program includes two full days of business meetings, where attendees will be able to learn firsthand about Mazatlán’s tourism offerings, including accommodations, cultural, recreational, and gastronomic experiences, as well as the port’s new attractions.
A welcome cocktail reception will be held for guests on October 27th, while the gala dinner and promotional dinner will take place in the following days, where awards will be given to key business partners who have supported the development and positioning of the destination.
He also noted that Fiesta Amigos is a long-standing and highly relevant event nationwide, so a strong attendance is expected.
The tourism promoter commented that one of the main objectives of Fiesta Amigos is for business partners to experience the new features and attractions that Mazatlán has to offer.
“More than anything, we want them to come and experience Mazatlán. To experience the destination firsthand, and if they have doubts about what people say about the port, don’t take my word for it, come and experience it,” he declared.
“The idea is for travel partners to see and experience the destination and then share their experience,” he added.
Gámez Valle recalled that throughout the year, Mazatlán has hosted various events, which demonstrate the interest and trust that the tourism sector continues to place in Mazatlán, consolidating its position as a safe and attractive destination for national and international visitors.
He also emphasized the importance of the Fiesta Amigos event within the country’s tourism agenda, as it is held close to other major industry events such as the Cancún Travel Mart and the Los Cabos VIP Summit, underscoring the destination’s competitiveness and the importance of showcasing its attractions.
In this way, Mazatlán seeks to strengthen its image as a top-tier tourist destination through this event, highlighting its beaches and landscapes, as well as the culture, cuisine, and unique experiences it offers, establishing itself as one of the most important ports in the Mexican Pacific for business and leisure tourism.
