Representative Álvaro Cetina Puerto went for the jugular against the current government and stated from the State Congress what Sol Yucatán had been denouncing.
The legislator explained that it is a government of farce, double talk, and corruption.
“Morena’s narrative about ‘social justice’ is pure lies, because what that party is really pushing are cuts, simulations, and a state government plagued by incompetence and corruption that has put the brakes on the state and forgotten the people.”
The legislator explained that the budget for the Xmatkuil fair is increasing by almost 100 million pesos and more than 50% in social communications to flood the state with propaganda about the so-called ‘Mayan renaissance,’ while failing to deliver basic services and real commitments to the people.
The PAN representative’s remarks coincide with those reported by Sol Yucatán, where he exposed the corruption at the fair through public works projects awarded to Mario Millet Encalada’s companies.
“Today, the Morena state government wants to deceive Yucatecans with a false narrative of social justice, but what we see is disrepute: incompetent, corrupt officials, even those accused of serious crimes. They change organizational charts to hide crimes, and all they prove is that Yucatán is in bad hands,” he stated.
