Green Angels provide an average of 21 services per day in Tamaulipas

With an average response time of 66 minutes for drivers in the state, the Green Angels have provided 6,622 services and assisted 23,877 tourists so far this year, reported Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, Secretary of Tourism for Tamaulipas.

He noted that the three most requested and in-demand highway routes for drivers, travelers, and transporters in the region are: Victoria-Santander, Victoria-Jaumave, and Victoria-Hidalgo.

The state official explained that “The breakdowns and services most needed by the public are: accident assistance, tourist assistance, mechanical assistance, towing, tire changes, and vehicle overheating.”

In addition to emergency response, tourist information and guidance, and transportation to obtain spare parts, tire repair, and fuel delivery to a gas station, among other services.

The head of the Tourism Department said that 1,141 calls have been received on the 078 emergency number, in addition to requests through the app, and that they have responded to six car accidents.

Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, Secretary of Tourism for Tamaulipas, emphasized the importance of the work carried out by the Green Angels of the Tourism Department in supporting travelers on the highways.
