The mayor of Mazatlán, Estrella Palacios Domínguez, said that this traditional celebration of “King Momo,” under the motto “Long Live the Tambora!”, will feature a long line of musical and artistic performances.

She noted that the city is ready to welcome hundreds of national and international visitors attracted by this long-standing tradition of the most popular festival, especially since it is scheduled to begin on Thursday, February 12, with the coronation of the King of Joy, an event in which the Sinaloan composer and singer, Edén Muñoz, will be present.

He announced that the coronation of the Queen of the Floral Games will feature the show “I Know You’ll Remember,” a tribute to the king of bands, Germán Lizárraga, celebrating his 75-year musical career.

As part of this show, the Sinaloa Symphony Orchestra of the Arts will perform alongside singers Germán Montero, El Mimoso, Carlos Sarabia, Julio Preciado, Saúl, El Jaguar, and Estrellas de Sinaloa de Germán Lizárraga.
